Homicide Investigators

Homicide investigators have to made of tough stuff; this job is not for the faint hearted.  Homicide investigators arguably have one of the hardest jobs in criminal justice.  Most people cannot imagine dealing with the things that homicide investigators see every day, however the field receives new recruits every year.  Homicide investigators are portrayed on television shows as exciting, intrepid people.  Even though reality doesn’t always look like the TV shows, homicide investigators enjoy an exhilarating job and perform an important service for society.  Homicide investigators collect and analyze evidence, interview witnesses and suspects, and frequently testify in court proceedings.
